I took my friend their last night to withdraw from bitcoin to usd. We did all appropriate steps. They gave us a redeem receipt. we put that redeem number to withdraw cash and the machine told us network error. My friend called company today and they don't resolve the situation.
Hi, your friend called us this morning and we had a long conversation with him. The ATM is working perfectly, This is NOT a normal ATM, if you want to withdraw cash from it you need to have bitcoins. If you press the "Withdraw cash" button it WILL print out a receipt with a redemption code, but that code will only become active if you send us Bitcoins! Please call us at 240-406-7145 if you have any questions. We answer the phone between 9am and midnight 7 days per week. Your friend seemed to understand us perfectly fine this morning so this negative review is perplexing... again, please call us if you have any questions.
This machine requires Government, license and SMS even if you deposit $5 where before I didn't have any of that since my 22 deposits except for SMS.
ID is required on transactions under $1500 only if you are using a Voice-over-IP (VoIP) phone number, such as google voice, etc.
Great location, cheapest fees in the area, and lets you buy and sell a pretty high rate.
