Put $65 into the machine and was given the message to add more money or forfeit/lose all the money! Then the transaction spontaneously went through and I received $6 worth of bitcoin. Yeah. Thanks a bunch. I contacted the operator and he basically told me "sucks to suck."
That is not exactly what we said, but we do certainly understand the Miners Fee structure is frustrating right now. You can see how expensive it has grown just recently here: https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/bitcoin-transactionfees.html#3m and we are working on a solution to deal with this.
Machine over valued Bitcoin by $1000 bad business bro.
Current bitcoin prices are ~$15,000 and our fee is 8% so that equals $16,200 - we are very public about our pricing, it's no secret. Miner fees are out of control right now but that makes it even more expensive. Let us know if we can provide you anymore information.
BTM has been inoperable since Mon. March 20th that I am aware of. Emails to email@example.com are unresponsive.
If it is in their establishment and not operating. Thats bad business.
We apologize for your inconvenience and you are correct it was offline for circumstances beyond our control. I do believe I did respond to your email already, and the machine is currently stocked, online, and ready for business. We are here to serve the community and hope to avoid these issues in the future.
The machine is not able to print the paper wallet. Might be jammed
Receipt paper was replenished quickly and the machine's fully functional again. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Did phone authentication, machine demanded government photo identification.
As part of our compliance requirements, we need to verify identify for transactions of a certain dollar amount. However the identify verification process also is triggered when there is a low wallet balance on machine, which is the more likely scenario in this case. We are working on making sure the kiosk has an available balance in the future and apologize for the inconvenience. For small transaction you are not required to provide an ID.
Buyer now has to have ID to Purchase bitcoin. It wasn't like that before. So, despite trying 7 times, it could never verify my identity. Also, I thought bitcoin was supposed to have some privacy to it. After this experience never using this currency again or ATM again period.
This ATM is actively maintained and supported. Due to certain vendor restrictions (not Bitaccess) and high demand, we have a limited supply of bitcoin to fund the machine at certain times, so there are instances where it runs out and we are unable to replenish immediately. Don't hesitate to call or email and we will try to address your concerns as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience.
