In the midst of the Pandemic, the price of BItcoin took a downturn. March started with a Bitcoin price at $8,534 and rose for a few days after it started to drop significantly. The month ended at a price of $6,405 which is a 24.9% decrease when compared to the beginning of the month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The number of new machines continued to grow at a relatively stable rate, unlike the price of Bitcoin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

General Bytes<\/a><\/strong> took back the top spot on the manufacturers list with 113 new machines (5.2% increase). BitAccess<\/a><\/strong> was second with 100 new installations (18.8% increase) followed by Genesis Coin<\/a><\/strong> with 95 new machines (4% increase).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the Operators list in March CoinCloud <\/strong>was first with 101 new installations (20.3% increase). CoinFlip Bitcoin ATMs<\/strong> and RockItCoin <\/strong>followed by with 58 (12% increase) and 22 (7.6% increase) machines respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are glad to mention that PureCoin<\/strong>, a US-based Operator, installed its first 4 machines in Connecticut and New Jersey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

North America continues to dominate with the United States<\/strong> installing 355 machines (7.3% increase), followed by Canada <\/strong>with 12 new installations (1.7% increase). The Netherlands <\/strong>was in third place with 5 new machines (11.9% increase).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sadly, the number of machines in Austria <\/strong>continues to drop. In march 11 machines were removed which was a 7.7% decrease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The percentage of Bitcoin ATM\u2019s supporting any other cryptocurrencies than Bitcoin increased slightly and is now at 70%<\/strong>. Ether <\/strong>was the second most added coin in March with 328 additions (7.72% increase) followed by Litecoin<\/strong> with 260 additions (5.47% increase) and Bitcoin Cash<\/strong> with 165 additions (7.01% increase).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The price of Bitcoin experienced a significant decrease in March. General Bytes and BitAcces were the most installed machine brands.
