If I did not, then I gave them money? I gave them all the information when I was making money, sent them the QR code I used. After that, they started asking for a private key. Why do they need my private key? To pick up coins from my bitcoin wallet?
Please see our response to your first comment.
RE private key - we didn't ask for it. We wanted to ensure that you still had it as you mentioned you had thrown away the public address you scanned.
I used this bitcoin atm to buy bitcoin. I put in bitcoin atm 1250 CAD. But on my bitcoin address there were no coins (receipts bitcoin atm not issued). After that, I turned to email@example.com. They told me that I had to take pictures of the bitcoin screen to prove that I had contributed funds.
Hi there. As we mentioned in our constant email communication, we need to see either a transactional receipt (like the screen at the end of the transaction that says "Take a photo of this screen as your receipt") or know the error code the machine gave you (though in your case you claimed it didn't give you any errors)
It is unfortunate, but likely that you scanned a BCH address (which are identical to BTC addresses) and therefore the BTC didn't reach your wallet.
Lastly, the QR code you sent to us as the one you scanned doesn't show in our logs... As we mentioned in our email to you.
As mentioned we are able to get you the $ or ฿ back, but we need to verify the cash first.
Thanks for your patience. We would rather communicate via email, but if you would like to do so publicly that is fine too.
